People do business with people they know. And for that reason, we suggest that you consider hosting a networking event in 2009.

While we're always looking for new ideas, we offer two basic networking programs--the Business Network Breakfast and the After Five Networking Event. What you chose to sponsor depends on both your facilities and budget.

We offer 4 Business Network Breakfasts a year. Hosts provide seating for 15 to 20 participants and serve a simple continental-style breakfast.

Additionally, we offer 6 to 8 Business Networking After 5's. These events, dependent on the location and time of year, typically draw 40 to 60 attendees and include appetizers, beer and wine.

·  Hudson Holiday Coalition for Giving

We are seeking sponsors for the Hudson Holiday Coalition. Participants sponsor a family or a child (purchase simple clothing needs along with a few holiday presents) or simply donate money and we'll provide volunteer shoppers.

Last year, the Coalition, with broad community support, provided gifts, clothing and food baskets to 147 Hudson families and their 352 children. To sponsor, just email the Chamber and let us know what you'd like to do!
